Keep in mind the Labor Rate should be what you would pay somebody thats working for you building the same thing. Think $10-30/hr. Materials, think base cost. Blanks (or Steel), Silver/Copper, and minor consumables. The formula accounts for wear and tear on tools, electricity, etc. Finally, this calculator is designed to be a helpful tool not a guideline . Remember, its not a business until you run it like one.
